New Balance XC-72 SPRING TIDE

The XC72 is based on a 1970s runner with elements of several other models appearing throughout, the sporty, mixed material design begins with a high-grade performance mesh that is covered on all sides by suede overlays of tonal red. Large white leather “N” branding appears in its traditional side paneled position, yet larger, like that of the 327. The shoe’s focal points include an exaggerated tread that wraps around from the outsole to the toebox, and an oversized midsole and outsole which extends past the heel. 

• Vertically split outsole features two hard ground traction designs the XC15’s ‘gripper’ and the 375’s studded pattern
• Stability heel clip featuring the 620s herringbone outsole pattern
• Hairy suede upper with recycled content in N logo, lace and lining. Vamp features textile with TENCEL™ Lyocell fibers derived from renewable wood sources.
• Single layer microfiber tongue
• Squared toe shape inspired by 1970s concept car designs
